In her first interview since the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie said her family has been “in agony.”

The “Today” show anchor has posted countless videos to social media pleading for information to help bring about her mother’s return, but the interview with Hoda Kotb marks her first formal interview since her mother went missing on February 1st.

In an emotional conversation with her former co-host Kotb, Savannah shared that since her mother vanished, she wakes up in the middle of the night imagining her mother’s “terror.”

“And to think of what she went through. I wake up every night in the middle of the night, every night. And in the darkness, I imagine her terror. And it is unthinkable, but those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face. But she needs to come home now,” she told Kotb.

Savannah’s full interview with Kotb is set to air in two parts on Today, on Thursday, March 26th and Friday, March 27th.

Nancy has been missing for more than 50 days, and there has been frustratingly little progress in the case as authorities continue to hit dead ends.

The 84-year-old was taken against her will from her home in Tucson, Arizona, in the early morning of Sunday, February 1st. According to the Pima Country Sheriff’s Department, her home’s doorbell camera was manually disconnected at 1:47 AM. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recovered the footage which showed a masked and gloved individual tampering with the device.

The man, seen wearing a mask on Nancy’s doorbell camera around the time authorities reported her missing, is described as being 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with an average build. He was carrying a black Ozark Trail backpack and appeared to be armed with a handgun.

At 2:28 AM, data from her pacemaker app disconnected from her phone, hence helping investigators create a timeline as to when Nancy was taken from the property.

An NBC insider told Fox News Digital that Savannah wants to return to Today, but is unsure when she would be able to. However, the host vowed that she will not let go of hope.

“I wanted you to know that I’m still standing, and I still have hope, and I’m still me, and I don’t know what version of me that will be, but it will be. I’m holding onto my faith. I still believe,” she stated.

The Guthrie family is offering $1 million reward for the return of Nancy. The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward and asking anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
