The year 2025 was marked by crucial news stories as President Donald Trump returned to the White House after four years in exile. Whether it be through his mass deportation operation, his attempts to crack down on runaway crime in Democrat-controlled cities, or any of a dozen or so more policy pursuits, perhaps the key theme of Trump’s first year back in the Oval Office was his overarching aim to combat forces and factors that have caused a grave destabilization of the US nation-state.
With that in mind, here are the three topics covered by this author over the course of the past year that I feel are of paramount importance.
2025 Was a Bumpy Ride
In April, “Maryland Man” Kilmar Abrego Garcia became the Democrat and dominant media face of unjust deportation absolutism by the Trump administration. Liberty Nation News reported how a powerful illegal alien-abetting organization operating in the Terrapin State was working to promote the myth.
Abrego Garcia is an active member of the Central American Solidarity Association of Maryland, or CASA. This organization has its roots in the communist revolutionary struggles of Central America in the 1980s. CASA holds immense sway over Democrat elected officials in Maryland. Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), who made a special trip to El Salvador on behalf of Abrego Garcia, likely owes his senatorial seat to a crucial endorsement made by CASA during his tense primary battle for the Democratic Party nomination in 2016.
On April 30, LNN documented the Marxist roots of two “immigrant” criminal gangs wreaking havoc in the US, MS-13 and Tren de Aragua. Demobilized FMLN communist guerrillas from El Salvador were the founding stock of MS-13 in Los Angeles in the 1980s.
The rise of Venezuela-based Tren de Aragua in the US can be attributed to the Marxist government of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Maduro “was the handpicked political heir of Hugo Chavez, the leftist strongman who considered himself an anti-imperialist revolutionary,” we noted. Inspired by that spirit, Maduro has sent military-aged men into America to foment social unrest.
But it doesn’t stop there.
As LNN reported on September 30, the Biden administration, under the elastic guise of “climate justice,” announced in December 2023 that it was directing a $50 million federal grant under the Inflation Reduction Act to a group called the Climate Justice Alliance.
CJA was co-founded by Cindy Wiesner, a veteran Maoist revolutionary. In her early activist years in the 1990s, Wiesner was a board member of a San Francisco Bay Area organization called Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, watchdog website Discover the Networks details.
A 2004 STORM document titled “Reclaiming Revolution” stated: “STORM traces its organizational roots back to Roots Against War, a group of young people of color who came together to fight against the Gulf War in the early 1990s. RAW’s marches were militant and confrontational, regularly defying police commands and occasionally plunging through police lines and barricades.”
“Together, RAW’s political priorities and practical methods allowed the group to lead thousands of people into direct confrontation with the state,” the group adds. “As the ruling class faced political crises and people across the country questioned the system’s legitimacy, RAW created space for young militants of color to express their outrage and develop radical views.”
This is what we are seeing in America’s cities today. Clearly orchestrated street riots in Los Angeles against US Immigration and Customs Enforcement actions over the summer of 2025 were not just meant to be an “immigration” protest. They were designed to radicalize young “people of color” in urban areas and steer them toward communist revolution.
Law and Disorder
On August 21, we reported on how blue-run cities Washington, DC and neighboring Baltimore distort crime statistics. This is how they do it in the nation’s capital:
“‘When our members respond to the scene of a felony offense where there is a victim reporting that a felony occurred, inevitably there will be a lieutenant or a captain that will show up on that scene and direct those members to take a report for a lesser offense,’ [Washington, DC] Fraternal Order of Police Chairman Gregg Pemberton told WRC [TV].
“‘So, instead of taking a report for a shooting or a stabbing or a carjacking, they will order that officer to take a report for a theft or an injured person to the hospital or a felony assault, which is not the same type of classification.’”
It’s that simple – and that shocking. As citizens were being maimed and killed in 2025, DC officials resorted to base trickery in a wildly irresponsible attempt to wish the carnage away.
Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain
On February 2, LNN reported that the former second gentleman, husband of former Vice President Kamala Harris, had landed a plum post as partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP – a law firm that has represented Soros in court on multiple occasions. The move came on January 27, just seven days after Trump was inaugurated.
Willkie Farr isn’t just doing light work for Soros. It has been engaged on cases that show Soros at his most nation-meddling controversial worst.
“‘Shout-Out: Willkie Farr Puts the Brakes on $10B Suit Against Soros,’ screams the headline to a 2017 article at Law.com. Soros was the target of a lawsuit accusing him of using strong-arm tactics to thwart a lucrative iron ore mine operation in Africa,” we wrote.
What does this say about who was running the White House as an aged Joe Biden was leaning on his autopen?
“This is the world Doug Emhoff inhabits. George Soros’ son and heir to the empire, Alex, made over 20 visits to the White House during the Biden-Harris years. Now ousted from that center of power, Emhoff has found his natural landing spot. It is indeed a machine, a system with a determined and lavishly funded agenda. And it is not going away just because Kamala Harris lost an election,” we observed.
Unfortunately, none of these three major sore spots that damaged America in 2025 will be going away as the calendar flips to 2026. Keep them in mind as you follow the news over the next 12 months.
