First Lady Melania Trump is advancing major initiatives at home and abroad, with Senior Advisor Marc Beckman noting that the priority is on achieving real, measurable impact, not the spotlight.
“What we need is a First Lady who’s creating new legislation, bringing in the international community, and rescuing individuals affected by the Ukrainian and Russian conflict,” Beckman told One America News. “It’s incredible what she’s accomplished since this administration began; that’s way more important than the cover of Vogue.”
This week, the First Lady welcomed representatives from 45 nations to the White House for the two-day “Foster the Future Together” initiative, a global coalition designed to empower children through technology and educational opportunities.
“Never before has an American First Lady brought nearly 50 nations together at the White House in a single day,” he said while describing the event as historic.
Adding that the event was designed to give the next generation a strong future through technological literacy, which in turn could strengthen the American economy and boost GDP.
“We could drive GDP growth across multiple business sectors,” Beckman stated. “We could attract investment, and the part I love most is that we could develop new intellectual property and sell it worldwide. That would give our children and our children’s children a solid financial foundation for the future.”
Melania Trump has also successfully helped to reunite Russian and Ukrainian children with their families after they were displaced during the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
“There have been three reunifications to date that she’s led,” said Beckman. “And she and her representative are currently working on the fourth reunification, which will be happening at the beginning of April.”
Beckman sees these initiatives as part of what makes the First Lady’s tenure so groundbreaking, a story that the new film, Melania, brings to life by showing a moment in history that no First Lady has ever shared, the intense preparation in the 20 days leading up to an inauguration.
“It’s incredible what people go through to plan an inauguration,” argues Beckman. “And Melania led the charge. And I think what she wanted to do is, as a very proud First Lady is show all of the Americans what it takes to build up the East Wing and to put our country on the stage at the most elite level, the stage of the world at the highest level possible. So that’s why, again, it’s groundbreaking.”
“But I want to tell you honestly, if people see the film, they’ll see this is an explosion of fashion,” continues Beckman. “She sets the pace, she sets the trend. Every scene is done perfectly, and it’s who she is. So we don’t really need Vogue and Vanity Fair and Harper’s and all of those magazines.”
