Folks in the heartland couldn’t help but remind their fellow Americans of the trials and tribulations that have plagued President Trump since 2015. So, chatter was all about Tulsi Gabbard calling out former President Barack Obama and wannabe leader of the free world Hillary Clinton for the second biggest hoax of the century, after the Biden years, which were supposedly fueled by Ambien, frail health, and serious cognitive decline. Also on the tip of tongues was, as expected, Epstein Island and the top-secret meetings to interview Ghislaine Maxwell by the DOJ. It was juicy and somewhat salacious conversations in the cafes and pubs.
Tulsi Takes a Swipe at Obama and Hillary
Part of the Friday news dump included Tulsi Gabbard releasing declassified documents regarding the reality of the Russian collusion hoax, allegedly perpetrated by none other than former President Barack Obama. It was a gutsy move to reveal to a hungry public that Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, and the Department of Homeland Security withheld an FBI and NSA press release that said they had “low confidence” in Russia’s role in the data leaks.
Gabbard says intelligence officials began leaking “blatantly false intelligence to The Washington Post” soon after the 2016 election. At a White House press briefing a few days ago, she said, “When you look at the intent behind creating a fake manufactured intelligence document that directly contradicts multiple assessments that were created by the intelligence community, the expressed intent and what followed afterward can only be described as a years-long coup and a treasonous conspiracy against the American people, our republic, and an attempt to undermine President Trump’s administration.”
Obama has now been referred to the DOJ, where he might even face criminal charges.
The heartland respects Gabbard but needs to see it to believe it, much like Cindy Castle in the Badger State: “Great work, now you need to follow through. I want to see the handcuffs out!”
Terry O’Connell, who hails from Morton Grove, IL, thought the fix was already in as he commented: “FOX showed the whole recitation by Tulsi. CNN cut away.” John Hines in Roanoke, TX, also called out the media: “Four years of GMA, ABC News, CBS, and NBC… deliberately lying to the American public about Russian collusion, every day, every night. I expect politicians to be corrupt, but the news media’s complicity in this is unforgivable.”
But again, folks from the back forty are tired of lip service. Sammy Coe in Michigan expressed his frustration, saying, “If you don’t have it lock, stock, and barrel, don’t waste our time! Because they are going to ride the race card.”
In Canton, GA, Karsten Kittelsen reminded the American public of who they are dealing with, channeling Hillary Clinton, when he said: “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
Jackie Bult McLeod in Alabama praised the Founding Fathers for their foresight: “We’re not a country of idiots, but we are a country taught to respect our presidents, unconditionally. I’m very glad the founders created a 4-year voting system, so the citizens of the United States had the opportunity to fix crazy.”
Ken Blackwell, former mayor of Cincinnati, OH, and former US Ambassador to the United Nations, sobered the calls for orange jumpsuits and metal bracelets that peppered social media threads: “If this man (Obama) never faces justice, then the rule of law in America is dead, not wounded. Not limping. Dead, Because when the system protects the powerful while punishing the rest of us, it’s not a system anymore. It’s a racket.”
Trump Gets Feisty Over Calls for Epstein Files
The other Friday news dump of note came when the media swarmed the president as he was boarding Marine One. Seemingly feeling his oats midstride, he pointed the finger at former President Bill Clinton and his former Treasury secretary, Larry Summers: “You ought to be speaking about Larry Summers. You ought to be speaking about some of his friends that are hedge fund guys. They’re all over the place. You ought to be speaking about Bill Clinton, who went to the island 28 times,” Trump said. “I never went to the island.”
Then there’s a lewd drawing and a letter from 2003, allegedly from Trump, if The Wall Street Journal is to be believed. If one pays close attention to the facts, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the WSJ “conceded they don’t even have it in their possession.”
The House Oversight subcommittee voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton for alleged links to the deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. On the books after becoming president, Bill invited and had 17 visits with Epstein at the White House. Flight logs revealed 28 trips on Epstein’s plane, a lovely painting of Bill in a blue dress and red stilettos as he lounged in a chair, found in the famous New York townhouse. And Ghislaine was a guest, after all the hullabaloo was coming out, at Chelsea Clinton’s elaborate wedding.
Many on the left believe Trump must be on the “list.” But the electorate isn’t so easily convinced. Vicky Murray in Stephenville, TX, offered: “I would think if Trump’s name was on the list, during Biden’s reign, it would have come out. Not sure why they didn’t expose it.”
Donna Gay Johnson-Hawkins in Sutton, WV, doesn’t believe it passes the sniff test: “Someone is protecting the Democrats on the list. If Trump were on it, the Democrats would have released it years ago.”
Another frustrated MAGA guy, Rodney Curry in Indianapolis, just wants answers – no matter who falls: “No…what we really need is the truth about everything that went on and everywhere it happened and everyone involved…EVERYONE.”
Another View
In case you missed this exciting bit of news, The View is officially on hiatus. Donald Trump Jr. was overjoyed and stated, “It is a major win for humanity and common sense.” As Pam Rosensohn in Georgia crowed: “Yes and Amen!! A grateful nation thanks you!! LOL!!”
Alas, they’ll be back as this break is only for the summer.
