Hip-hop mogul and alleged sexual predator Sean “Diddy” Combs was found “not guilty” on multiple counts and will likely receive a much lighter sentence than expected, infuriating many who see this as a gross miscarriage of justice.
Sean “Diddy” Combs was convicted on lesser prostitution charges but acquitted on more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges, the New York Post reported Wednesday. Many are calling it a shockingly unjust verdict, although at this point it seems entirely predictable that rich/titled people could get off with almost any crime (see congressional felons and the Deep State). Megyn Kelly was among those extremely upset by the verdict.
She pointed to evidence indicating that Combs beat girlfriends Cassie Ventura and “Jane” when they were reluctant to comply with certain demands, and that Combs paid male escorts to cross state lines and have relations with the women. “They had him dead to rights on that. I mean, he really should have pled guilty on those,” she argued.

Kelly insisted there was evidence to support the charges of battery, arson, and kidnapping against Combs. She exclaimed angrily, “Combs was smiling as he shook one of his lawyers’ hands and turned to look at his family. He put his hands together in prayer and mouthed ‘thank you’ at the jury. He pumped his right fist.” And that is not at all surprising, she said, given that “in my opinion, [he] just got away with serious felonies. I believe he is guilty as sin and this jury just gave him a total pass.”
She cited the New York Times to state that Combs’ body language “is totally different from yesterday when he seemed ‘crestfallen and grim’ after the jury said it had reached a verdict on four of the five counts. Now acquitted of the most serious charges, Combs reportedly appears ‘energetic and relieved.’” Amazing how there were peaceful J6 grandmas who had a harder time in court than a convicted sex criminal appears to have had.
“As the defense team argued he should be released from prison pending sentencing, the Times reported [that] the judge, ‘with a touch of levity,’ said he assumed Combs would not want to return to the Brooklyn jail where he had been held,” Kelly continued. “Combs shook his head vigorously and put his hands together in prayer.” One wonders to whom he thought he was praying.
The reports about the jury’s indecision yesterday appear to have been inaccurate or misleading, Kelly said. “They were about to be a hung jury on the RICO count, and then today, I guess, the holdouts who said I think he’s guilty of RICO turned around and said, ‘Alright, he’s not,’ because they acquitted him of that,” she speculated.
Ultimately, Kelly angrily stated, “This is a win for Sean Diddy Combs. There is no question about it. Yes, Combs has fallen as a revered figure for a large portion of America. But he also has die-hard fans who want to pretend this is a Johnny Depp-Amber Heard situation. It is not.” She insisted Cassie Ventura was a “sympathetic witness” who exhibited signs of trauma and suicidal ideation. Kelly vowed, “I will make it my personal mission to maintain his humiliation in the minds of all Americans.”
