A fourth U.S. service member has killed in action amid ongoing operations against Iran as part of Operation Epic Fury.

On Monday, U.S. Central Command confirmed that the service member was among those seriously wounded during Iran’s initial counterattacks against the United States and allied forces.

The news comes one day after the military confirmed the deaths of three U.S. service members.

The service member has not yet been identified, and information is being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification in accordance with military protocol.

President Donald Trump said that he may travel to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to participate in the dignified transfer of the troops’ remains or invite the families of the fallen to the White House, highlighting his administration’s commitment to honoring America’s military heroes.

These developments come after the U.S. and Israel forces launched the operation on Saturday in a coordinated effort to counter threats from Iranian leadership and military infrastructure.
