The U.S. Department of War has released the names of four U.S. Army Reserve soldiers killed in the Iranian drone strike on a tactical operations center at Port Shuaiba in Kuwait.

These are among the six American service members confirmed killed in the incident, which marked the first U.S. fatalities in the ongoing conflict with Iran. The other two service members’ identities are expected to be released later as well, according to U.S. officials.

The deceased have been identified as:

Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida

Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska

Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota

Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, lowa

All of the service members were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa

“We honor our fallen Heroes, who served fearlessly and selflessly in defense of our nation. Their sacrifice, and the sacrifices of their families, will never be forgotten,” Lt. Gen. Robert Harter, Chief of Army Reserve and commanding general U.S. Army Reserve Command, said in a statement.

The identities of the two other U.S. service members killed will be released once next of kin notifications are completed. The circumstance of their deaths are not yet known.

On Sunday evening, President Donald Trump released a video offering his condolences to the families of the fallen.

“We pray for the full recovery of the wounded and send our immense love and eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen,” Trump said.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth called the service members who were killed “the absolute best of America.”

“May we prosecute the remainder of this operation in a manner that honors them,” he stated.
