So, Who Was the Guy Asking Charlie Kirk About Shootings at the Very Moment He Was Shot? – PJ Media

The guy who asked Charlie Kirk about shootings at the very moment the TurningPointUSA founder’s throat was pierced with a rifle shell, silencing him forever, was a 29-year-old TikToker who hates Kirk’s guts. Now, of course, he is shocked to learn that Kirk is — was — a human being who bleeds just like he does. Suddenly, his past affinity for doing smart-ass man-on-the-street interviews with Charlie Kirk audience members to show his TikTok audience what idiotic Nazis conservatives are may have lost a little of its luster. It’s iffy.

That’s okay, he’ll rally. Hunter Kozak, a former LDS member turned adherent of the Apocryphal Sacred Temple of Righteous Anarchy, will probably get over his shock soon enough and be back in the pews, drinking deeply from the molotov host, fingering his pentagram fidget spinner, and passing the seaweed wafers. Just spitballing here.

“Mr. Kozak and his wife are unabashed liberals in a conservative corner of a deeply Republican state,” the New York Times enthuses. “Their living room is decorated with flags for Black Lives Matter, Ukraine, L.G.B.T.Q. rights, with a Star-Spangled Banner hanging among them.” So, the couple’s bona fides are totally intact.

He is also a “math education” major at Utah Valley University, so someday he’ll have a degree in leftist studies and will want to mold your children’s minds.

The Times further informs us that Kozak and his wife left their newborn daughter, their second child, born on Sunday and still in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, to get his moment at the microphone with Kirk.

Indeed, Kozak and his wife made sure to get to the Kirk event 90 minutes early to get a good spot, so he could get a crack at the open mic. Since people who disagree with Kirk’s views are advanced to the head of the line, Kozak “was ushered toward the front of the line after he previewed his question to the event’s organizers.” Suddenly, the Times is concerned about question previews, after watching four years of President 3×5.

Kozak agonized over which question to ask. Would it be the one about Jeffrey Epstein or about trans shooters? Choices, choices.

Since the shooting, Mr. Kozak has been agonizing over his decision to ask Mr. Kirk about mass shootings — a grim coincidence that has fed into online conspiracies and speculation. He had debated asking about Jeffrey Epstein or Mr. Kirk’s own definition of gender before ultimately querying Mr. Kirk on transgender people’s role in committing mass violence.

“I couldn’t have asked a worse question,” he said.

He asked Mr. Kirk about mass shootings involving transgender people, and the two went back and forth for a moment before the shot rang out, killing Mr. Kirk. Mr. Kozak, standing a few feet away, at first thought the gunshot was a firecracker. Then he realized Mr. Kirk had been hit.

“I saw blood spurt,” he said. “I dropped to the floor.”

“I wanted to challenge him,” he told the Times. Indeed, Kozak has taken Kirk to task on his TikTok account multiple times and has gone to other TurningPoint events to make his conservatives-are-so-stupid-and-villainous videos.

But in order to challenge someone, a few facts may be in order. Here’s where the would-be math educator, who presumably knows something about logic, showed how completely thick as a plank he is.

In an interview on CNN, Kozak said he decided upon asking the trans shooter question to show — and he is completely serious — “The point I was trying to make is how peaceful the left was… before he was shot.”

Now, at this point, I could insert my list of left-wing violence versus right-wing violence, but I’m sick of making that damned list, and leftists never bother to read it anyway. But this brings up a question: Don’t math education majors know how to read?

The awkward video of Kozak featured on CNN showed him reflecting on how ironically alike the two men’s lives are.

“Charlie had two kids and a wife. I’m on the record with how much I disagree with Charlie Kirk, but, man, dude, he is still a human being. Have we forgotten that?” he mused.

The math educator may have to do a little homework to figure out which side of the political aisle has given up on the humanity of all those grandmas, pre-born babies, and people who refuse to wear masks. Though I am no math education expert, I have it on good authority that 1 + 1 = 2.

“It’s a tragedy. To those who think this is the answer, it’s not,” Kozak instructed his audience.

You know, I was just spilling tea with my Republican homegirl the other day about the ethics and humanity of assassinating Democrats, but had to check myself because I remembered that Democrats are people, too. That was close. I’d better tell everybody.

There’s only one side doing the shooting. That math educator might want to tell everybody to stop killing us.
