Following a series of cryptic social media teasers that sparked widespread speculation, the Trump administration officially launched the “White House App” on Friday.

The mobile platform is designed to bypass traditional media, offering citizens “unfiltered” access to live-streamed briefings, executive actions, and a direct messaging line to President Donald Trump.

Notably, the app also features a dedicated ICE Tip Line, allowing users to report immigration-related information directly to federal authorities.

“Live streams. Real-time updates. Straight from the source, no filter,” the White House promised from the app in its Friday announcement on X.

The application, which can be found on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, provides the following features:

  • Receive breaking news alerts on major announcements, executive actions, and other key priorities.
  • Watch live streams of briefings, speeches, and historic moments as they happen.
  • Dive into a dynamic media library packed with highlights.
  • Stay connected on the latest policy breakthroughs.
  • Send your voice and feedback directly to the Administration.

“From the Oval Office straight to your phone, the official White House app is the fastest, most powerful way to stay informed and engaged with the Trump Administration,” the White House stated, characterizing the app as “the fastest, most powerful way to stay informed and engaged.”

The app allows users to “message President Trump directly,” emphasizing that “your voice matters in this administration.”

It also features a “stunning photo gallery” showcasing “historic moments and daily White House life” in a single hub. A caption-less video posted to the White House X account on Wednesday — which appeared to glitch alongside the sound of a phone alert — initially led many to speculate the account had been compromised.

A second short video also surfaced on Thursday, featuring a buffering White House logo set to mysterious background music.

Sleuthing users quickly discovered that when the audio was played in reverse, it contained a hidden message: “Exciting announcement tomorrow.”

The buildup culminated on Friday morning when the White House posted a single word — “SOON” — alongside a graphic of a loading bar and the cryptic caption, “SOMETHING NEW.”
